Jason maintains a diverse litigation practice. He has acted for clients in a broad range of cases including personal injury (e.g., occupiers’ liability, recreational injury and motor vehicle accidents), commercial, construction, debtor-creditor, estates and employment matters, as well as professional regulation. He is results-driven and takes pride in his ability to offer creative, cost-effective solutions, rather than off-the-shelf, standard tactics, to his clients’ legal issues. He works diligently in complex matters in order to simplify and clarify an otherwise complicated process.
Jason previously worked at a boutique tax law firm, acting for individuals and businesses in tax litigation matters and administrative law matters dealing with taxation authorities. He has represented clients before the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia, Tax Court of Canada and administrative tribunals. He earned his law degree from the University of British Columbia’s Allard School of Law.
He is a strong believer in giving back to the community through volunteering and other forms of support. In February 2015, Vancouver City Council appointed Jason to its Cultural Communities Advisory Committee. Jason is fluent in Persian(Farsi) and proficient in Spanish.
