Risha Sidhu

Articled Student

Risha obtained her Juris Doctor and Masters of Laws from Bond University on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate degree in Criminology at Simon Fraser University. During her undergraduate degree, Risha completed a practicum at the Ministry of Justice in the Victim Services & Crime Prevention Division developing community safety and crime prevention programs. 

Throughout law school, Risha was a candidate in the Legal Skills Program and gained practical experience in legal research, memorandum drafting, alternative dispute resolution, and trial advocacy. In recognition of her academic excellence and contribution to the community, Risha was awarded First in Class in Principles of Contractual Liability in 2016. Additionally, she balanced her academics with an executive role on the Canadian Law Students Association and 180 Degrees Consulting throughout her legal studies. 

Outside the office, Risha enjoys travelling, hiking, watching sports, and volunteering in the community. Currently, Risha volunteers with the Young Lawyers Advisory Committee at the Canadian Bar Association advocating on behalf of young lawyers in British Columbia.
