Gerard M. Grand

Gerard received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Brock University in 1978 and his Law degree from Osgood Hall Law School in 1981. He articled in Toronto for Robins & Partners and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1983. He was appointed as a Professor in the Department of Finance & Accounting at Brock University. He obtained an M.B.A. in Finance in 1987 from the Faculty of Administrative Studies at York University. In 1990, Gerard received an LL.M from Queen’s University in Taxation. Gerard is experienced in domestic and international taxation, corporate and commercial law, real estate and business acquisitions and estates and trusts. He has extensive experience with trading companies from Hong Kong, manufacturers in the special economic zones of Mainland China, major North America retailers, and consumer products companies.

Gerard is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and, as such, does not and is not entitled to practise law in British Columbia other than tax matters.
