Sasha Ramnarine is a Business Lawyer at Remedios and Company, advising entrepreneurs, investors, and growing companies across British Columbia and Canada.
His practice focuses on business law, real estate transactions, and estate planning. Sasha works closely with clients on business structuring, acquisitions, contracts, and strategic planning, helping them build, scale, and protect their operations through practical, commercially focused legal advice. He regularly advises on complex business transactions and strategic growth initiatives.
Sasha brings a strong business perspective to his legal practice, shaped by early experience operating his family’s Trinidadian restaurant in Kitsilano and a diverse background spanning multiple industries. This foundation allows him to deliver legal solutions aligned with real-world business objectives.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) from Simon Fraser University and a Juris Doctor from University of Ottawa. He also holds the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors, reflecting advanced training in governance, strategy, and risk oversight.
Sasha is actively involved in board governance and community leadership. He currently serves as a Director with the Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade and has previously served on the New Westminster Police Board and with Immigrant Services Society of BC, gaining cross-sector governance experience.
He is also a Term Assistant Professor of Practice at Simon Fraser University and an Instructor at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, where he teaches business law, employment law, and business fundamentals. He mentored entrepreneurs through Futurpreneur Canada and business students through the Beedie School of Business, and has been recognized on the Beedie Teaching Honour Roll.
Sasha was named to Business in Vancouver’s Forty Under 40 in 2023, recognizing his professional achievements and leadership in the community.
