M. David Wilder

Consultant on Securities Matters

David received his B.A. (Hons) Political Science from the University of British Columbia and obtained his M.Sc. (Econ.) from the London School of Economics, London, England. David then completed his LL.B. from the University of British Columbia before he was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1966.

David acted as counsel for various world-wide financial organizations, mining, oil and gas and exploration companies since 1973, practicing in the areas of loans and investments, management of realizations on loans, placing of securities in Canada, U.S. and U.K., company and securities law, real estate mineral and hydro carbon properties acquisition, liaison with municipalities and other governments and management of litigation including administrative hearings.

David also acted as a lecturer in business organization for the Continuing Legal Education in British Columbia. He has also acted as the Chairman of the Securities Bar Committee dealing with the Law Society on various ethics issues.

David is currently a former lawyer and not licensed to practice law in Canada.
